Plug-and-Play Sensor Pairing Wizard

Detect and pair I²C add-ons (gas · IMU · color · ToF · OLED) on the Maqueen's expansion port. Exposes detected sensors to other labs via localStorage.

Mock mode active — scan returns plausible fake addresses, readings are simulated. Real BLE not required.

Step 1 — Plug it in

Wire the I²C breakout to the Maqueen's expansion port. SDA on P20, SCL on P19.

  • Power off the robot before connecting any sensor.
  • Connect SDA→P20, SCL→P19, plus 3V and GND.
  • Power on and connect over BLE (or enable Mock mode).

Step 2 — Scan the I²C bus

Probes addresses 0x00–0x7F. Detected devices light up green.

Step 3 — Identify your sensors

Each detected address may match more than one common chip. Pick the one you have.

Step 4 — Test & expose

Live readings (stubbed if firmware doesn't support each sensor). Click Expose to share with other labs.
